Juventus are set to sell Fabio Miretti this summer, with Bologna the primary interested buyer. The 23-year-old midfielder, a youth academy product, would represent significant profit for Juventus. The sale is part of efforts to balance the books by June 30 following Champions League qualification failure.

Bologna and Juventus remain in constant talks but struggle to close the distance on valuation. Juventus initially requested €20 million but reduced expectations to €12-14 million, whereas Bologna's current proposal 'nowhere near' meets that figure. The clubs also dispute structure: Juventus prefers permanent transfer while Bologna seeks a loan with option or obligation to buy conditional on performance metrics.

Other Serie A clubs including Fiorentina are monitoring developments. Spanish side Villarreal have expressed interest, though Miretti prefers to remain in Italian football. Bologna remain frontrunners despite stalled talks, with the player turning 23 in August.
